2nd Forum on Brazil-China Cooperation & 5th Brazil-China Symposium on Applied and Computational Mathematics

The Forum on Brazil-China Cooperation is the platform to discuss the Brazil-China cooperation issues and ativities, specially in Applied and Computational Mathematics. The Brazil-China Symposium on Applied and Computational Mathematics is one of the activities from the collaboration between the two Gold BRICS countries. In recent years, the collaboration between them has been very active in all areas. Federal University of Paraná and Xian Jiao Tong University, and Yangzhou University, Henan Polytecnic University respectively have signed the collaboration agreement to exchange professors and students and produce joint research. The Parana State Araucaria Foundation and Zhejiang Provincial Natural Science Foundation have signed agreement on cooperation, and jointed to establish Laboratory Brazil-China Of Artificial Intelligence by means of cooperation among Londrina State University, Federal Technology University of Parana, Hangzhou Electrinical University, and several Brazilian industry companies. The purpose of the event is to enhance and facilitate contacts and the dialogue between specialists of different domains dealing with Applied Mathematics and Computational Mathematics so that new concepts can be discovered and new methodologies can express their power.
This event is promoted by the Brazilian Society of Applied and Computational Mathematics (SBMAC - www.sbmac.org.br) and the Chinese Society of Computational Mathematics (CSCM - http://159.226.92.6/chinese/index.htm or www.cscm.org.cn), and organized by Dongguan University of Technology, China, sponsored by National Natural Science Foundation of China, and Dongguan University of Technology. Welcome any type of support for the event.
The event will consist of meetings participated by representatives of foundations from both countries and specialists from different areas, of plenary lectures, given by invited speakers, and of contributed talks in all areas of Mathematics, Applied Mathematics, Computational Mathematics, Industrial Mathematics and their applications in real problems, also of some meetings and visitings with industries from Songshan National High Tech Park.
Historic
The first Forum on Brazil-China Cooperation was held at Academy of Mathematics and System Sciences, Chinese Academy of Sciences, Beijing, China, Aug. 15, 2015. The conference series "Brazil-China Symposium on Applied and Computational Mathematics" started in 2009. The first symposium was held at Xian Jiao Tong University at Xian, China, Aug. 1-5, 2009. The symposium was a successful event. Selected talks were published at Mathematics and Computers in Simulation Journal. The second one was held in Foz do Iguaçu in 2012, while the third was in Shanghai in 2015. The fourth was at Foz do Iguaçu, Brazil, July 23-27, 2018. Selected talks were published at special issue of Applied Matheatics and Computation. We wait for you in the V Symposium on Applied and Computational Mathematics that will be held in Dongguan, Guangdong, China, in Nov. 30-Dec. 4, 2020.
